Absolutely incredible sites for rv'ing & Glamping at its finest! Sites are large & fully equipped with furniture, a large fire ring, and even a grill to use! Other spots have spas & sinks too! This campground is very impressive, in size and amenities. The barrel rides and pony rides for children were a plus, there is also an arcade in the lodge which helped entertain our kids in the chilly weather. We were a little bummed to see the playground no longer exists, but there is plenty to do in the area to make up for that. Shenandoah NP is only 45 minutes away, and Luray Caverns only an hour. We definitely recommend stopping by the Gordonsville Ice House while visiting, we got a discount through the resort which was another plus! My family really enjoyed our 2 week stay and would definitely visit this resort again.

Nice resort focused mainly on cabins and yurts. The upgrade campground is also very nice and fairly level with level concrete parking and lots of landscaping. The gravel camp area is on the side of a steep hill making backing into you site a very difficult up hill ordeal.

Shenandoah Crossing made for a wonderful base for a weekend of motorcycle riding in the Shenandoah area. The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything for home cooking (which we did none of except to make coffee). We slept well on the really comfortable beds which is much appreciated after a long day if riding. The cabins, nestled in the trees, are far enough apart for privacy and the feeling of seclusion. I think a return trip is in order.

Shenandoah Woods Traveler RV Park offers a clean and well-maintained environment with a range of amenities that cater to RV travelers. The bathrooms are consistently nice, and the availability of free laundry is a notable perk. The WiFi service is reliable, which is a big plus for remote workers or those needing to stay connected. However, there are a few areas where the park could improve. The gravel spots, particularly for larger trailers, are quite challenging to maneuver, and we were advised to pay double for a more accessible spot on our next visit. Additionally, while the park offers many amenities, we found the push to attend a two-hour timeshare presentation in exchange for a $150 gift card to be a bit aggressive. Lastly, there were issues with speeding within the campground, and an unpleasant encounter where someone flipped off my wife, which detracted from the overall experience. In summary, while Shenandoah Woods Traveler has a lot of potential and provides essential services well, attention to guest experience and safety could enhance future stays.

Great location. Cabins are well maintained. Lots to do in the area and some on the property. Central to both Charlottesville and Richmond, and the surrounding small towns, breweries and wineries are fantastic. Horseback rides and pony rides available for an additional fee. Free laundry on property (not in cabin), free mini golf.

My family and I went on vacation to this beautiful campus. If you love nature, this is the place to visit. You can play tennis, ride horses, swim in the pool and so much more. The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and the staff are very courteous. While on vacation, we visited a restaurant on site, and the food was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to visit again.
